ForContractors was founded in 2023 by Rudy and Hayden Ruiz, both second and third-generation contractors who grew up on job sites. After running their family businesses for over two decades, they faced the same frustrations: disconnected tools, lost paperwork, crew communication breakdowns, and compliance headaches.
They evaluated existing construction software but continued to encounter workflows that did not reflect how their teams operated in the field. So they built ForContractors, construction management software designed by people who've run crews, bid jobs, dealt with change orders, and faced OSHA inspections.
Today, ForContractors is being used in active contractor operations while we introduce the platform to more construction companies through live demonstrations. That real-world use, along with direct feedback from contractors and construction teams, continues to shape how the platform supports crews, project teams, and office workflows.
